Anyone running Bilstein B4's? Looking to stop pothole explosions.

Hey everyone, ever since getting my new OEM F30 18's I am really worried about bending or cracking a rim or ruining tires.

I live in NY and the roads are pretty bad, even in my town we have a ton of these small cut outs of road to be repaved for some reason...? little 5x5 squares that dip an inch down and they are enough to make me feel like a gunshot went off in my car.

I blame this in part on my 87k and almost 6 year old suspension.

I have looked at Koni FSD's but I think they are almost too good for what I need, I love a good steering feel but realistically i don't need much performance, so for half the price the Bilstein B4 (or Touring Class) seem like a good alternative.

Does anyone have any opinions on these? I will most likely be putting them on my 328xi in the near future.

Thanks,
Scott

I look forward to hearing reviews as well, but given that they are marketed as a "stock-like" factory replacement, I doubt there are gonna be many people around here running them.

I've heard that they are definitely a lot more comfortable then stock, not to mention even if its a little smoother then OEM I'm sure it will be 100% improvement over OEM with 87k on it.

However I really want to hear a review with someone who has them first because with the cost to install I would get Koni FSD installed first and spend the little extra then get these Bilstein's only to find they don't help too much and then pay labor again plus the cost of the Koni's
