Car starts but no throttle response ??

So I can start the car with my foot on the brake and then hit the start button but the throttle pedal is completely dead. No response. Nothing.
The car just isles and that's it.

It's a E90 328i N51

Any suggestions??

check your pedal if it is unplugged (it's electric). Pedal can actually go bad too (if water gets in it etc).

I have to get my cable and get the codes.

But the throttle does kinda respond. If I start the car with the pedal right to the floor, there is a blip in the RPM's with it hitting about 3500RPM just momentarily and then it goes down to idle.

If I start the car and don't touch the pedal then that momentarily blip in RPM isn't there and just idles.

Is there a setting in the software that can reset the throttle so the pedal becomes responsive again?

There was a guy that just had a similar issue on the general forum and it was corrosion in pins in the DME connector. However this sounds very similar to when the throttle body in my E46 went out. You'd floor it and it'd maybe blip once and then not do anything after that. Not common for it to go out on E90 so I'd check DME pins. If you had ISTA or INPA software in a laptop and a kdcan cable you could manually actuate the throttle to rule it out.
