ECU code on Cobb: P2D43.. Vanos?
Hello guys,
So I've got this super weird code constantly P2D43 on my stage2+ N55. This code will appear under "read code" on accessport every time right after I flash a new map, after the key pull and waiting of course. It is there before I start my engine. It is also there after I uninstall AP before I start the engine. There's is this clicking, ticking, machine gun like noise before the engine starts, should be checking procedure for the Vanos?? Once I erase code, it won't come back again. I have catless downpipe, I also experiencing jumpy idle, rattle if I WOT at high gear, but that might be the throttle closure of the tune? Googled it but doesn't seem like there's anyone else posted this before.. |

Let us know what happens. Hope it's nothing too expensive to fix. I looked up the N55 code list and nothing showed up on there about that specific code.

The sticky list in the technical section I believe? I got both 2D42 and 2D43 now... 2D42: Valvetronic, adjustment range: stop not learnt 2D43: Valvetronic, adjustment range: Fault range check Should I DIY or just go see the dealer? |

If the dealer is charging $125 for diagnoses and at least you know exactly what's wrong. Then I would DIY if you're familiar with the car.
