I notice on one of the earlier pictures, you have the same problem as me, with the front bumper hanging down underneath. Does this annoy you? It does me, was looking at sorting it out soon. I assume its botched to fit the Intercooler.
Thanks Smokey, yes middle section of the bumper can't be secured because of the intercooler upgrade and yes it does annoy me a little. I've considered making a bracket for it but haven't got round to it yet

Yeah it scrapes on speed bumps and stuff, sounds awful, I want it sorting. To cold and wet to look at the moment, hehe. Might just take it a bodyshop and see what they say,

I had my headlights done at KYCS just over a week ago so time for an update.
I spent the day there after travelling up from South Wales and was a bit late but Simon and Raj were happy to stay on and finish the work no matter how long it took. The projector shrouds were sprayed satin black and the indicator housings removed to fit an led bulbs, leaving the headlight looking all black. Led angel eye's were fitted along with switchable demon eyes in the outer projectors. It gives the front end a meaner look without the lights on and I'm very happy with the finished result on the angels and demons. I also upgraded the front fogs to led whilst I was there and had the smd colour change to white backlight with blue needles. This improves the interior in my opinion and gives it a more modern look.
I now have some LCI outer rears to go on but am on the hunt for the inners and have purchased Earthquake SWS subs to go with the focal upgrade in the doors and tweeters.
So on to the pics....

love the headlights.
do you have the red demon lights on whilst driving?
the interior cluster mod is a must. completely transforms the look inside.

Thanks. Of course I don't have the demon's on whilst driving, that would be illegal :
The demon's are on a separate switch so can be switched on or off as desired but when on they are visible on drl and sidelights, drowned out completely when using dipped beam.

Looks sweet.

Still not a fan of those rims though. I personally think if you were to throw on some anthracite/gun metal M359s it would become my perfect car. Not that me living vicariously through you is a reason to influence how you style your car or anything!

Haha, the wheels are just winters. As soon as it warms up a bit the BBS CX-R's will be back on.

It's been some time since i updated this so here a few recent pics with new additions being a genuine Arkym front lip, lci rear lights and M3 mirrors. It nearly had m3 rep skirts too but the fitment was awful so i sent them back.
With regards to anti dazzle mirrors, does anyone know if it's just a case of changing the glass or whether there is some wiring required? I only ask because the m3 mirrors were second hand and sourced independently of each other. Both are electric power fold and heated but only one of them is anti dazzle and i'd like them to match (thinking about it i'll raise a new thread for this as i have a better chance of getting an answer but feel free to reply if you know the answer).
As i only seem to post these updates during or just after winter, i know the comments will follow that everyone prefers the other wheels i have but these are winter wheels

Damn the E92 is such a classic shape. I do miss my 320d LCI but I love the tech and performance from my new 7.5 Golf GTI

Agreed I love the side profile, but would happily drive a golf GTi too

Think M3 mirrors are a superb mod/upgrade. I do think it's wiring that's different between the electrochromatic and non versions ones. Did you compare the different ones before fitting to see the differences in them internally?

Ah ok, thanks Raj. I didn't compare the wiring in the mirror itself as I wasn't aware that one of them was auto dimming to be honest.

You should be able to gently pry the mirror glass off (as it is just clipped in) BUT from memory I’m sure there’s a separate pair of wires/pins going to the glass for the electrochromatic part.

Now the wiring I think is the same for both dimming/non dimming on the car side to the mirrors (as you have to activate the dimming part using the INPA or something) so you may be able to just run those extra wires if that’s all that’s needed.

Other option is to keep a look out for a proper dimming one and swap em and sell the non dimming one on.

I'll get in there and take a look at what's going on. As you say the wiring to the mirror is the same on both sides so maybe I can run some wires from the connection block to the mirror glass, but that would be the preferred option as these were two different colours when I bought them and are now looking lovely with a fresh coat of sapphire black metallic on them. I can live without the auto dimming on the one side really but would be nice if they matched. Thanks for the advice though, much appreciated

Yeah hopefully it’ll be that simple. Can’t see why not but hey these are BMW items lol.

And no problem at all with the advice. Always happy to help if I can.
