Reading 335d boost pressure

Hello all, recently purchased a '06 335d to keep the miles off my E46 M3 and so far enjoying it more than I expected.
Been working through a few oil leaks, changing the usual intake manifold seals and fitted a forge boost pipe. Still got a bit to do but getting there.

I've tried to measure the boost pressure while driving using a few apps and elm Bluetooth obd adaptor. Doesn't matter what app I use, the boost seems to flatline at 22.something psi. It doesn't seem like this is the actual maximum as if I graph it, its a perfectly straight line at the 22. It's more like the sensor is maxed out? Is this normal?
