Currently have a bmw performance exhaust and want to go full catless. Was wondering if anyone had a sound clip of a n55 335 with catless downpipes, secondary cat delete, and a pe exhaust. Was also wondering what it would sound like with just downpipes and the pe exhaust. Thanks

Unless you have an X drive, you have no secondary cats in the midpipes like the N54's do.
Heres a video of my exhaust at different stages. Downpipe and PE muffler will be very loud on an N55

Wow that actually is pretty loud and does sound very good. I do have an xdrive so not sure how much different it would sound but hopefully similar.

I think X Drive cars have the same cats in the mid pipes as N54s do. You would want to remove those.

Don't mean to threadjack but I've been looking at the aFe Mach force xp but can't find any clips with catless downpipe on N55. All the clips I hear are with the stock catted DP. I might just take a gamble and see how it sounds.

I have clips of Catted Exhaust with PE and OEM cat with PE.
do you want that? I assume catless is ~10% louder? est..

Holy shit that's loud, but exactly what I was looking for thanks! I just remembered I also have ppk flash so mine will sound exactly the same when I do downpipes next summer. So you still have the secondary cats in correct?
