Maybe the 328 has a 2 stage intake.
I agree with the "this will end up costing more than the 330 upgrade" crowd

This isnt for people looking for a car and are going to buy this manifold+a new car; its for 325 owners wanting more power.
And yes, its that easy to make the car a 330. Its far from magic. |

when I odered mine on my deployment that was the first thing I tried to do when it was getting built. Dealership wanted an extra 2k. With the Step there is no stress same for the gearing you get the extra hp but the biggest thing would be install and tuning.

And if not, what is there that we can put on the 330i engine?? I mean is there turbo or supercharger??? I should prob just search this before i ask but i think it would be quicker by askin here

To turbo or supercharge the N52 you will have to do everything custom.
The N54 uses different materials in its block than the N52 also I think its magnesium or something like that.

who revived this thread?? hahaha the 3 stage manifold does make a diffidence... Before you even tune your ECU, you already gain an extra 8HP; my car with the 3 stage manifold pulls a bit harder after 4500rpm (feels like vtec =p).... tune your ECU to use the actuators properly + a few other things and you're looking at amazing gains for 325i owners (amazing in that you will finally be getting 330i hp out of your car; some tunes like the one Gavin has is a more aggressive tune which gives you a bit more bang for your buck).
Most people just get the AA tune where they see gains of 15hp... throw the manifold in there and you're looking at 40+ horses from my understanding.... As for myself, I haven't had my ECU tune yet and have had my manifold installed for about 4-5 months and put roughly 3000 miles on the car. no service lights have gone off and the car runs well. I'm thinking about getting a BMW PE for that less restrictive air flow before I do the tune.

Just recently put the 3-stage manifold on my '08 E91. It also has an AFE sealed intake and Magnaflow cat-back. The cars pulls much harder. Software is the biggest issue now, as AA has not fully unlocked the 328 ecu to add 3-stage manifold provisioning.
