Micro fibre drying towels
I misplaced mine FFS (only washed car last week )so went out and purschased two more... forgot how bleedin' expensive they were.
Now i want to look after these two... Are they ok to dry on radiator or can this damage their absorbtion properties?

How do you get away with two? I use at least 4 on every wash.

£25!! For that price I would expect them to do it themselves. Elite Car Care have a good choice at sensible prices.
I have bought 3 for not a lot of money, good quality as well. http://www.elitecarcare.co.uk/cloths...ath=64&&page=1 |

Whats a radiator, squid and tenner?
Mf towels are real cheap over here. You can get them at any autoparts store for a few dollars for a 4 pack. Or real big ones online for $10 each.

4 small mf towels are 2.5 pounds. Real big towels are 6 pounds each. Is it more expensive over there?
I think a radiator might be a dryer or room heater? I dont know unless you mean the radiator on your car?

PS, certainly you've seen radiators in rooms. They're the big bulky things, usually near windows, that hot water or other thermodynamic fluids pass to heat the room by convection. OK, some are electric over there but those work pretty much the same way for heat exchange.
£10 is a British Ten Pound (Sterling) note, currently worth about $16.50 at $1.65/£1. It's bigger than a fiver and smaller than a twenty in physical size. It's also orange whereas the fiver is blue and the twenty if purple.

No idea. Heaters maybe. Ive never seen one in person though, so they might just be called radiators too.

Meguiars MF are by far the best IMHO
http://www.theultimatefinish.co.uk/c...ufacturerid=30 Tumble dryer or rads at my house and they love every minute - just don't use conditioner when you wash them - will have big effect on absorbency (i do the washing in my house!) |

There is a big difference between a decent microfibre based drying towel and the microfibre cloths that tend to be smaller and often come in 'bulk' packs.
I have a large decent soft drying towel that is about the size of a pillow case, is double sided and stitched all around the edge. It is extremely soft and absorbs water unbelievably well. Just chuck in the washing machine/tumble dryer and it brand new again. I have used it weekly for over a year now and it is still as good as new. http://www.theultimatefinish.co.uk/d...ing-towel.aspx Mine is the Sonus branded one but very similar (if not the same) - Carl's price of £25 for 2 is pretty realistic. I also buy the cheaper packs of small towels, and use these for glass cleaning, applying and polishing products and finishing every wash with Meg's Quick Detailer. These come in 10's for about £4 on ebay. I would defo recommend one of the large towels if you have never tried one. Infinitely better than the small cheap variants which are not for car drying IMO. |
