My car was listed as fleet and I have had no problems with it.
Also with the cars you see on Ebay with Buy it Now the prices are negotiable. My car was listed for around 27 so I offered 24.5, they came back with 25.5 which is what I wanted to pay for it.
Thanks for the input!

So here is another question, this has been on my mind for sometime, maybe you guys know.

2007 E90's used a DVD for navigation, now my 2010 doesn't. I assume everything is loaded onto the hard drive. Does anyone know where the hard drive is located? And what if it crashes?? does that mean the entire control panel (navi system) becomes useless? I'm assuming it's some kind of proprietary operating system specifically for BMW, so outta warranty repair costs on such situation could be ridiculously high.

I have been hassled back home in Mass for not having an inspection sticker on my mustang which is registered out of state. Once the cop realized he acted nice and let me go.

So if you have out of state plates it's ok to take off the front plate and you don't have to worry about yearly inspection stickers or camera tickets. Real tickets where they get your license, you need to take care of. I haven't had any experience with parking tickets other than in Canada (Didn't pay it).
In Columbus, they take the Photos from the rear and they are cracking down on no front plate big time. if you park downtown with no front plate the parking meter folks write a ticket for it. On the no front plate issue, if you are pulled over by the State Patrol, they now have a book that tells them what states should have a front plate and they can write a no front plate ticked for the other state. It's getting rediculous already.

The hard drive is in the CIC unit in the dash. If drive fails, the whole unit gets replaced and is about $1200. If the drive fails, many systems become innoperable such as the Nav and music collection. It most likely will be a dealer only repair since the CIC will need to have a software update and then coded to the car and then the car reflashed. It's not plug and play.

Wow thats crazy. I always thought it didn't make sense for police to enforce laws of other states.

Average is about 12k-15k miles a year. Anything above that is normally considered high mileage. I think the "Fleet, rental and/or lease use record(s) " clause could mean it was leased, not that it was a fleet vehicle.

well since we just found out we are neighbors you might be the first person to see them in person haha.

Also got the reflector delete for the bumper, as well as the smoke LED side blinkers.

Oh which reminds me, if you order from "www.bimmian.com/" use the code LABORDAY to get a discount. It negates the free shipping but you still save a few bucks.

I am going to go find that groundhog and club the sh** out of him.

But on the plus side at least we don't have to worry about a Tsunami washing our cars away.

That's pretty sick man, I'd love to see those in person. Not many guys in Ohio running OSS setups, I sent them an email but never heard back, other companies like Lightwerkz told me they couldn't do anything for me with pre-lci lights. Be sure to post up when you get it all back together.

Yeah after all the BS I went through to get those lights out of my 335i I see why not many people have them. Its a B**** trying to get them out

I really really can't wait to see the results however.

As for not hearing a reply back, Luis (who i talked to) is severly backlogged on projects. He said he is booked nearly solid for the next month out. Naturally throwing my lights in the mix didnt help much either.

Just hang tight and he will get to you in time. Great guy to talk to, if anything I give them 5 stars for service.
