Always found Camskill the cheapest place for Falkens in the past.
But, having said that, spend a wee bit more and get Vredstein Sessantas instead. Much better tyre for little more than the Falkens. Last time I looked, lovetyres were cheapest for these. |

Falkens are ok in the dry if you are not pushing on to much. In the wet , put it this way i would not buy another set.
+1 on the Vredsteins

What about an all year round tyre? I'm on RFTs and will be planning the leap of faith next year... which as all round would people recommend, but not breaking the bank lol!

I agree about when it's wet, I have 452's and when it was raining I went around a corner and found myself drifting but then DSC kicked in and corrected my car. I find myself going sideways or fish tailing alot in the rain. |

Also depends what size you after?
Try camskill, black circles, my tyres, pneus, opeano and see who comes out cheapest. Also worth asking your local tyre place

I am running 453s and I am often surprised at just how hard you can push on cold damp roads. They dont appear particularly progressive but its probably more to do with power delivery than tyres. Finding the limits of these tyres on open bends requires a fair amount of speed. I find the car is more limited by the subframe tying itself in a knot.

Walshcat. I've bought 452's from these people and they're not too far from you.. I found them the cheapest.

lovetyres.com are often cheapest by miles for tyres
That said, i wouldn't be buying FK452's. One of the most overrated tyres in history, mostly from owners forums saying how good they are because they're cheap. The Vredstein Ultrac Sessanta is meant to be better. And tbh, i think the proper good stuff like the Goodyear F1A2's are only a few quid more expensive per tyre. |

Nothing wrong with 452's even if they were 50% more expensive. I've had them on a 335i and found them great. I can't comment on the Verds, but 452's are definitely not "overrated".

Personally I wouldn't say the 452's are over rated either. They are a good tyre for the money, and I have had several sets of them.
I do prefer the vreds though. |

I bought a 330d with the falkens on and they are fine in the dry, crap in the wet. Making do with them for another month then they are coming off. And this is compared to the OEM bridgstones I've become very used to over the years.

I ran them for 10k (mostly motorway) miles on my 330d. Rears were down to *ahem* beyond the legal limit. That's soft by anyone's standards - driving hard they wouldn't have lasted anywhere near that.
I've still got the 452's on the front, but gone for the Kumho KU39 on the rear, and so far so good. Similar price, to within a few quid, equally quiet, grippy and comfortable. Wear after 4 months seems on a par with the Falkens though, so I think next time I'll go for a premium tyre and see if they last a little longer.
