2yrs 30k Mile update

It's been 2yr 60k miles, now daily driving this as I sold the TBSS. Ive done over 12k miles this year already. Other than oil changes I have not had any repair bills, still on the same NGK plugs and coils from 30k miles when the turbos were installed.
Track days:
1x 1/4 night
1x 1/2 mile
1x HPDE
No failures

So after 2 yrs and 30k miles I knew some maint was coming.

Symptoms:
Cold starts rough for months thought it was just e85 or bc of the lpfp upg, then sounded cammed, and got worse last week causing multiple misfire codes, and a few others that didnt reproduce. Noticed oil seepage by the plugs and injectors.

So I investigated by pulling plugs:
Cylinder 2 plug - wet with oil
Cylinder 5 plug - soaked with gas
On a full tank my garage smelled like gas.

Just regular N54 maint items:
1. Ordered the valve cover kit comes with bolts, gasket and cover. ECS via overnight from cali
2. Full set of injectors index 12. ECS via overnight from cali
(Mine were index 9.)
3. Fresh NGK plugs gapped .022
4. Windshield fluid pump bc it never worked since I bought the car.
5. Cleaned BMS DCI filters

Just under $2k in parts, and a little under 10hrs of labor.

Overall this car has been great for the 2yrs/30kmi Ive had it and I am really not disappointed at all. Nothing on the market today checks all the boxes that the e93 will for the money.

What about that gas smell? Well later today ill be replacing the oem cracked ring under the pass seat at the top of the fuel-it LPFP. I didnt want the shop to swap it out with an oem lpfp.


Whats next? Debating dropping another $1500-$2k to attend an HPDE at Az motorsports Park on dec 17th. ill need new tires for the 17's, and some brake upgrades for more stopping power. Power and weight is just too much for stock brakes. Still on original stock brakes, rotors + pads.

Not really abnormal, I mean when have they ever lined up we see 1000chp claimed cars in the N54 world barely break 130 mph.

Broke 130 mph in a heavier much older AWD car that made 518whp on a Mustang Dyno.
