Exclamation Which angel eye will last longer??

I'm debating on which brand I should get??

I need a light that'll last in the long run. Yeah it be cool to upgrade my AE and all but i need to make sure that these lights can last for more than 4+ years.

I'm looking at all these amazing angel conversions but idk if they'll last longer than the OEM angel eyes...

So what would you guys recommend?

I've heard that the LUX 5.1 and the Mtec v3 are the best ones but can be pricey. Check out this discussion:

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=422566

I'm thinking about getting some too. As far as longevity the LUX has a thermal protection built in- it will cut off power when overheated and then resume when cool enough... not sure if the Mtec does

Exclamation

thanks man! also is there anyway I can get these lights for below retail value?

I was looking at this one site (link below)
http://www.xenonplanet.com/bmw-h8-le...-m3-e93-e70-x5

Are these the same as the LUX's?

Here's another link as well...

http://www.xenonplanet.com/bmw-e90-e...s-marker-kit-1

I have no idea what a marker kit does...

I'm pretty new to this as you can see

Can someone tell me the difference between buying the LUX's and the following two links that I have above?

MTEC angel eye leds are viable choices that last quite long, well past the 1 year warranty period.

Thanks.

I still have a few members using my LUX E90 version 1 which was released 4-5 years ago. the LUX E90 v5.1 have a 1 year warranty, but for some reason even if they fail after that point i will still work with you to get them fixed correctly

Listen to this guy. In terms of longevity, any LED is going to outlast the car.

Yes, they look great but I think most want a plug and play solution, especially when you show a pic of car that's taken apart like that.

I dont think i have any pictures of the LUX 5.1 compared to older versions. It will also be hard to capture the difference on camera.
