Its probably the only car to tempt me away from the M3.

What I love about the Turbo's is they just look fast, even when parked up.
40 next year and want to do the same, been looking at some nice cars but not found the perfect one yet.

Nice car by the way?

Great looking car and a complete bargain. The 996 turbo is such a good car and for the money I really dont think there is much that can touch it.

I scratched my porka itch a while back with a 997.2 C2S PDK

The best car I have ever owned, used everyday and it never let me down once. I could get over 30mpg on a run and the only money I spent on it was rear tyres ..

I will have a turbo one day

I don't. A mix of very few miles these days, several cars and the fact modern fuel is utter shite. Had a tank of fuel go off once and it was an utter cunt to get the car running again.

So was in france over the weekend...

Was sat at 75mph in 6th gear - and road just opened up. I wasnt particular in a rush but i pressed my foot down for about 15 secs.

When i glanced at the speedo it was at 147 and still pulling with zero effort.
I slowed the thing down FAST .... what shocked me was the short space of time it took to hit that speed.

The car is immense in every aspect - just cant believe how good this car is.

Also found out it was £102k when new.

I can, we were also in France recently (mentioned above) and some of the speeds reached were eye watering. More impressive was how quickly it got there. Apparently the latest turbo is significantly faster !!

Great car, congratulations, did I read right that this only cost you £28k or did I misinterpret something??

Nope... £28k ...

Dealer didn't realise (as i didn't) but a manual 996 turbo with the x50 pack is the holy grail or 996 turbos apparently.

Similar cars but 2 yrs older are going for £31k!
