On another side note, anything on the Split Second Turbo Tuner 2? Their claim is like 50-60 hp and ft lb increase with boost increases adjustable from +2 to +4 psi. And, for some reason, they sell the same model to both N54 and N55 owners, which seems kind of unique in the piggyback market.

I love my AP. There is nothing better than simply plugging it in and uninstalling before BMW service. Plus they have Stage 2 and Stage 2+ maps available. Stage 1+ FMIC is coming soon. I really love this tune. I've posted my dynos on the dyno sticky. I haven't dyo'd with Stage 2+ and my DP yet though. The maps grow as your mods grow. My only issue now is meth. I want to run meth but until ATR is released there are no meth maps. Once ATR is released you will have to have a Cobb dealer/tuner to go to and custom tune your car for meth. (I think this is how it's going to work). Look at thier history in the EVO and STI world. Very long solid history on those platforms. Honestly all 4 of the major tunes are great in their own way. I have not had any of the others so I don't personally know. Plenty of people rave about all 4, GIAC, Cobb, JB and Procede though.

DCT with JB4

How did DCT behaves with JB4? Does it feel different than stock?

Seems fine....For the dyno runs I blocked the WOT kickdown switch, like it so left it that way.

Now, I am not knocking Dinan's tune however I beg to differ regarding the Dinan gains, even Dinan stage 2 at maximum power is only a gain of 54 bhp and 49 whp using Dinan's #'s.
You need to remember when looking at Dinan's peak power of 384hp that they started at 330hp so 384-330=54hp gain.
And the money back warranty on the tune according to my dealer was 72 hrs.
I have dinan stage 2...I have a 2011 335is and with this car its 384hp 415ft lb of torque...for me from stock thats

64hp over stock

83ft lb of tq over stock

for regular 335i owners its

378hp (78hp over stock)

415ft lb of torque (115 ft lb of torque over stock)

So I am really confused on what you are talking about.

Don't worry man, I did the same thing and have the same feeling now...just remember when something goes wrong with one of the other tuning and a turbo blows, or anything for that matter and the (its not our fault or let me get back to you on that) happens, we don't have to worry, we can drop our cars off and it gets fixed for free...that is why I bought the dinan stage 2, plus the torque increase is amazing!

For those of you that are ready to buy a tune for your vehicle (BMW 135, 335, 535, X635i, Z435i), this comparison chart will help you narrow down to the tune of your choice. The chart is in .PDF format so you can go to links associated with the text. This chart goes in detail and defines all the properties of these tunes. On the second page, you will find a breakdown on the features that the JB4 and PROcede v5 have. Both camps have contributed to this chart as well as reviewed it for accuracy.

I'll be collecting new data as time goes by and tuners come up with more features and improvements to implement to their respective tunes. The chart will be updated accordingly. That said the features listed in the chart are what is currently available in the market.

Excellent comparison chart. Very helpful.

ok i don't know if this the chart is accurate.updated...

but with a jb4 and completely stock car, what gains can I see? I'm simply looking for a tune, and nothing else. Simplicity is what I want, nothing complicated.

Why are there no power increase #'s or any other info in the chart for the COBB AP? Just wondering as I just purchased one and reading more about it.

Probably because the COBB guys can flash and drive and are out and about!

Perhaps you could do some of work to find out the information on the chart? I may be able to edit the PDF ... if you send me the update stuff I can give it a shot. I am on the fence myself... need COBB info... but in any case this should be updated!

I've been shopping ,comparing , studying charts for my '11 335is and all I have to do is screw up one map, get too ambitious and BOOM. I'll pay for the Dinan stage 2 and not worry. I'm not a track guy just an old Sunday afternoon cruiser,(ha)

Does anyone have experience with the decrease in miles per gallon with Dinan Stage 2 on a stock 11 335is Even if I feather foot it most of the time?
