11' 335 leftover

There is an 11' leftover 335 sedan (E90) at a local dealer. MSRP is 52,000. What do you guys think would be an appropriate offer from my side?

Depends on what options it come with and how much of a price break they're willing to give you. Mine was a left over 335i, MSRP was 56k, got it down to 42K otd. Comes with Sport/Premium/Nav/PPK.

It was over at Sonnen in Marin. I was passing by on my lunch hour and couldn't pass up on it. Very impulsive buy

I think sport, premium and nav but what does it matter what kind of options does it have, doesn't it come down to the MSRP? Its an 11 leftover E90, the only one I've seen around. I assume 10-12k would be appropriate since its old body and 2 years of the warranty are already gone?

I want some of whatever you're smoking. Even a used model would fetch more than that as a dealer trade-in.

I am not sure if you understand how warranty works... if it's a brand new car, the warranty starts on the day you buy the car.

tamster00 got a $14,000 discount on his leftover, and I have also read about many other members getting around $10k off on leftovers. So I don't know what you are smoking.

They should be anxious to get rid of it. They've been paying inventory tax on the car for quite a while. I'd see what a used model with 500 miles shows for value and start there for an offer. They can always say no, but I'd start the convo off by reiterating that you're about to make an offer on a 2-year-old car. I bought my '08 E92 M3 new back in '09 for $20k off of sticker! They couldn't sell it with the economy the way it was, and I told them to call me if they're ready to sell it. They had the car for over 18 months. I got a call to come and get it. I was actually called a liar by multiple people on this board when I posted what happened, as if I was trying to gain some sort of message board cred. LOL

All they can do is say no.

Pick a number you are comfortable. Go 30% lower than that number - then start going back up to your target number. Like others said, dealers are looking to move these cars, I would think they would be more aggressive.

I think this was a mis-communication. I believe you meant DROP the price 10-12k, but the way you said it sounds like you were suggesting that you OFFER 10-12K. I dont know if this helps but I just got a used 2009 335i at 27K miles for 30K.

Lol yeah I meant a $10k to $12k discount. Yeah I would be smoking something if I meant a $10k to 12k offer lol. Thats how much a 2000 325i is

Not if the car was "punched" to claim an incentive. If so, warranty clock starts ticking from that date even if it is not titled.
