Too bad your dealer was not getting things done for you...I'm not sure but I thought I heard that dynavin found a new rep in the UK? Probably due to the kind of service you got (or didn't get)

Same problem on my 2010 320d (euro spec car) with N7 with latest firmware. Also, mirrorlink works with Android 7 devices but does not with my Android 8.0.0 Samsung phone.

Thanks. Do you know if they accept bug reports at Dynavin?

Talk to your dealer, if its a legitimate bug they can pass it on to their contacts at dynavin.

Or just send an email to the address on their "contact us" page on their website.

Sorry, I cant account for how other dealers treat or respond to their customers.

But hopefully just because you did not get a response does not mean that your feedback was not noted.

Actually I bought my N7 from dynavin.com, which is in Germany. Anyways, I agree with you, no feedback does not imply that they don't care.

TPM reset problem - Has anyone had an issue resetting TPM with Dynavin N6 installed. My car is late '06 build 2007 e90 335i and uses tire rotation speed instead of TPMS. The red light came on correctly with low tire but cannot be reset after fix as reset option when scrolling is gone. Dealer has car now and thinks it has to do with the Dynavin.

The dealer thinks there is a canbus communication issue. Has anyone had the canbus interface box supplied with the Dynavin go bad?

Yeah, Ive never heard of that, drove my own 335 for more than 5 years with various Dynavins in it, reset the TPMS many times, no issue. You can unplug it to see but I think you have something else going on there.

I finally got around to fixing my BIGGEST bug bare of the Dynavin N6 unit, the radio being loud on the lowest audio setting with a factory HiFi setup.
  • I bought a line out converter:
https://www.amazon.com/Scosche-SLC4-.../dp/B000BFL52Q
  • I wired it within the Dyanvin harness as follows
View post on imgur.com

  • I changed the switch over to Factory AMP and changed the Factory AMP gain adjustment counter clockwise 90 degrees.

Now the radio volume is perfect!

I ended up trying one of those Xtrons units with the huge screen, however, the quality was just terrible. It had so many features I wanted, including Apple Car Play without paying the overly expensive Dynavin price. There were so many issues with that unit, I gave up after 3 weeks and went back to my Dynavin.

Hi everyone. I've spent the last 4 evenings reading the 81 pages of this thread and nowhere does my issue seem to be covered.
I recently bought a used car that has a Dynavin N6 installed but had no SD card so the GPS doesn't work. From what I've read it should come with Igo Primo. The Navi path on the stereo is looking for 'MobileNavigator/MobileNavigator.exe' and whatever I do wont let me change or update that path.

I downloaded a version of Igo from a site called 'fixmygps', followed the instructions to the letter but nothing happens when you press the Nav button or Nav icon on screen. The .exe file in this is Primo2.exe. I've tried renaming it but that didn't work either.

I then downloaded a free gps program and tried renaming the exe file to match the path and that doesn't work and there seems no way to change the navi path on the N6 now it's set. I tried a factory reset and that doesn't do anything, just sat there so I manually rebooted and it just starts as normal, not reset in any way, presets still saved, same firmware version etc.

I've tried it on 2 different cards, one 16gb one 32gb. They were formatted to fat32, I assume it's not exfat or anything is it? I'm pretty PC literate but not very savvy at all with mobile devices.

Please help!

When you say "Primo2.exe" that's a Windows executable file! I thought Dynavin units are Android based, no?
Android uses .apk files to install not .exe

Looks like the issue I had on my N7 bought new from Dynavin.com . In my case it was the navi SD card slot that was not working at all; they fixed it for free.

However, to exclude physical damage you should get an original and working SD card to try. I say this because if the system does not detect a working iGo installation in the slot the NAVI button won't work at all.

Cannot speak for the N6 but N7 is Windows for sure (I own one) and the iGo executable is indeed MobileNavigator\MobileNavigator.exe .

Ugh...that's ugly! Don't get me wrong, I'm a Windows guy and I hate all Apple products (yes I've used them and have to deal with them daily) but Windows for a car head unit... man, I don't envy you!
Android can give you way more than Windows can.

Thats not how it works, the navigation program runs on a windows based system, that is common in most stand alone nav systems, car audio, and OEM nav system, its not something you ever see or use and has nothing to do with the day to day use of a stereo. Comparing a conventional car stereo to one of these android based ones is a very "apples and oranges" sort of thing.

Yes exactly. So is there anyone who can help me with the SD card files I need?

Happy to send the SD card or pay for one and postage and the cost of a couple of beers if there's someone who'd copy their files on to it for me.
