E92 18" > 19" ride quality

Have any of you made the change from 18" to 19" on your E92? I am very tempted however I'm wondering just how much it effects the handling/feel.

I've got an 07 335i M-Sport if that makes any difference, currently equipped with 193m 18".

Stay with the 18s IMO.
19s were more uncomfortable and much easier to bend. I went back to 18s and never looked back.

I’ve got 18’s and was thinking of 19’s but nearly every second hand set on eBay are cracked or have been and now welded, multiple times in many cases so I just thought that says it all. M sport suspension, 18’s on non runflats is the best all round set up in my opinion. Firm and sporty but not crashy.

I've wondered this also, and made the same observation about 19" sets on eBay, etc... Being cracked/welded. Very interesting.

Depends if your going to run run flat tyres. If you are stick to 18, if not then 19 with non run flat may well be more comfortable than 18 with run flat.
The reports of bent or cracked 19s are usually due to running run flats as there isn’t much compliance in the side walls/carcass

My 335 I'm picking up has 19s.. I'd probably change to 18s in the near future if I find a set I like

I went from 18s run flat to 19s non run flat. ride is fine for me and family. Cracked rims i think are dependant on tyres and quality of the rim itself.

I've just went from 19s to 18s a couple of months ago ....and I've been thinking it for the 3 years I've owned the 335i... and it's so much better and I'd never go 19s again. More comfort which was my main priority as the 19s are terrible with the state of the UK roads and the sports suspension is crap anyway as we all know. 18s tyres are cheaper, still look as good as the 19s I personally think.... meatier side wall tyre ECT. And a bit more protection from cracking the alloys. And from a handling point of view they handle better than the 19s... More feedback ECT.. lighter ECT. 17s handle even better than 18s, that's why people that use the car on the track go 17s. 19s are purely for looks and that's it. It's all down to what ur priorities are. For the record I went from MV4s down to MV3s (193m)

19s seemed to attract damage...then again, mightve been the shitty rims my car came with

PS ride on 19" Pirelli Pzero 235/35 fr, 265/30 rr was quite niiiiice --- but they dont last.

I went from 18s on run flats to 19 on non run flat and thought the ride was much nicer.....mine were m3 reps and never had a problem in the 3 years I ran it.

I've run 19's on all my BM's and never ever thought it was too harsh.

Personal preference I guess but 19's with non-RFT's are fine.

I've had an E92 on 19s (non RFT, which the previous owner had fitted) and I could only bear it for a couple of weeks after purchasing the car before I did something about it.

Ok so E90 here now...17s, SE suspension, non run flats. It's spot on. A bit wallowy on turn in, but ride is perfect. It embarasses the 340i with adaptive and 18 RFTs. Older car ride quality (on 53000 mile shocks) is way better.

Unfortunately my super sports still have 5mm on the rears.
When they do need replacing I fancy a set of these. I think they'll look pretty good on my lowered SE, can someone please tell me what style they are
