Outer Angel Eye is much dimmer after changing light bult
I just changed the daytime running lights for my 2011 E90 LCI and while the lights now work and the code is now cleared, it appears the outer ring is now much dimmer while the inner ring is much brighter.
Anyone encounter the same issue and any ideas why? |

It's a common misconception. All of that generation lights will have dimmer outside lights since they actually dont have a direct source. Most just dont notice with the yellow stocks in. Take a look at night from 20ft back and they'll look more similar.
Assuming you aligned the bulb correctly (that will make a little difference) then that is the typical reaction that most have when you put a brighter aftermarket bulb in. |

the light bulb I changed it to is the same type of yellow phillips lights.
I understand the outer ring will always be dimmer than the inner ring but what I am saying is after the bulb change, the outer ring is now significantly less brighter than it was stock before the change. Any tips on how to align the bulb correctly? |
