M6 Replica wheels on my 335i

Hello,

I am trying to get the M6 replica wheels for my 335 coupe. However, I am having a hard time figuring out the offset needed. Right now looking at the 19inch wheels.

Here is what I came up with. They say this fits the E90. So it shouldn't have a problem with E92 coupe

Offset: 38mm front and 40mm rear

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/19-M6...mZ160044389102

But is the offset ok for 335 coupe? Would the rear stick out alot ... rubbing issues?

With that offset on 19x8.5 & 19x9.5 that will look realy nice. However those rims are pretty heavy @ 29 lbs F and 30 lbs B. Just be aware it will slow you down

Anything lighter than OEM...but to get the best performace to make up for the 19" size, go as light as you can (of course keeping in mind you also want something strong too).

I would guess in the 26 to 28 lb. range. Just a guess.

WOW! Well thank you for your help. I'm sorry I am such a noob when it comes to any kind of car modifications. So does this mean that upgrading to light rims like 19 pound makes a hell of a difference as well? The car should be more responsive and overall quicker no?

Suzaku,
A 3-4 pound weigth difference per wheel will make some difference, but I doubt you'll notice it. Beside run flat tires weight much more than regular tires so you could make up the difference.
