BMW 2006 325i or 2007 328i?
Hey guys!
I am looking to buy my first car, I have narrowed my options to these two cars. I am not sure which one to buy. 1. 2006 325i --> 52k kms (32k miles), one claim of $3k, other than that car has been one owner and metallic gray () This car is sold from a big car dealer (Nissan). 2. 2007 328i --> 76k kms (45k miles), no accidents, one owner (). This car is sold from an independent (small) dealer. My question is, based on your experiences, which car would you go for? I am also planning to buy warranty from both parties. Also, is there a big difference buying from a big dealer (i.e. Toyota, Ford etc) than buying from an independent dealer? I really appreciate any help! Thanks Again! I would want an independent mechanic to check out either car before buyig, especially the one in an accident.
It seems like the price on the 06 should be lower considering. You get a few more horsepower (15 I think) and a metal ring around some of the interior knobs in the 07 - otherwise they are the same, not counting any difference in options. If the 06 checks out OK, and they come down on the price, I'd lean that way, based on the info provided. Otherwise, I opt for the 07.

x2 on getting a CPO, whenever you buy a used car...its always important to still have warranty left just in case something goes wrong

Weird. I don't know if that's entirely true but I did bought my car from a Ford dealership and it was CPO. I still had the original warranty as well as the car was below 50K miles.

It's not true. A BMW CPO car is only going to be sold by a BMW dealer. Your Ford dealer may have had a 'certified' inspection process, but you dont have a BMW CPO warranty unless you buy it from a BMW dealer or an individual who has transferred the CPO to you.
