Android GPS Maps on SD Card?

Anyone successfully done this with an Android deck such as an Eonon or Dynavin?

Please post links for SD cards that do actually work. I'm not sure if the $20 eBay cards work.

Lastly, can we even download the maps from somewhere to our own SD card?

You could try downloading sygic, its a fully offline GPS system and its better than maps imho.

Thanks Colorado. I checked out the site. When, downloaded, does it go to the Eonon or SD card? Sorry I am pretty much new with Android in general.

you can choose the efault storage directories.

any sd card that formats and mounts works. obviously faster is better. stick with at least a u1.

google maps will allow you to offline save maps under your settings.

It will most likely save to your eonon, I don't have an sd card on my phone so I cannot verify that you can move the maps to the SD card and it recognize it, though I don't think it would be a problem

If you're using Google maps, it already comes with an option to download maps for offline navigation. You just won't get live traffic information.
