13.Disable a bulb check error

What does this do exactly?

If I current have a halogen headline but get a xenon headlight, would this prevent the car from creating an error code and make the xenons work without a conversion?

This coding might not be available for some early E9x vehicles.

If you currently have your angels eyes set as the Welcome Lights I can add for example fog lights to come on with the AEs when you unlock your car.

If this is an OEM conversion then I can code your new xenon headlights to work with your car.

Your FRM module might not support Welcome Lights, so I guess it won't work.

I am in if it can be done on E89.
Patrys, E89 has CIC, so I guess DVD in motion is possible, right?
Other said it's not possible. Can you conform on this?

Can you explain this a little more? Are you talking about eliminating the bulb check warning or actually letting the ecu know that the car runs on xenon lights now while still having the bulb check activated.

If the conversion is done in an OEM way (retrofit) I can code it as a retrofit, otherwise I can just disable the bulb error.

The OEM way I am talking about is using oem bulb, ballast and headlight. No level sensor or adaptive feature... Is this what you mean

I am not going into details of this retrofit because I do not remember what exactly is needed to perform it in your car.
If these are all parts you need then I will code the xenon headlights in this car the way your dealership would do it (permanently changing its VO to include this option).

I am not sure what you want me to confirm. The 08/2005 production date is OK.
We need to have a list of coding options and the car production date and model, so I can double check if those options can be coded in those cars. Also the total should be added to avoid any misunderstanding.

Akura, would you mind adding this info to the above list?
Thanks!

Hi everyone. Sorry I've been swamped with work the last two days. It would be great if everyone on the list could post their own mod lists so we can keep track. Thanks!

So with option 5, DVD's would play while my car is in motion? I thought there needed to be some hardware installed for that...

Also, do I have the option to show either MPH or KM/H with the M3 Digital Speedo? Or is it only km/h or only mph?
