FS: Adjustable Rear KW Lowering Springs from KW V2 Coilover Set - E90/E92 335i

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
Sold

Item Interest
Up for sale is a set of KW rear springs and adjustable spring perches from the KW V2 coilover kit. Fits E90/E92 335i's. I believe these can be installed with stock or other types of aftermarket shocks, allowing adjustable ride height.

I do not have the rest of the KW V2 kit, so please do not ask.

I took these off my E92 335i when I traded it in years ago. They have about 10k miles on them. Some minor scuffs/cosmetic defects from removal/install, but no rust and no performance issues. Threading on the adjustable perches is fully intact and both perches go up/down smoothly.

Works with stock rubber spring pads.

Asking $200, located in Fairfax, VA. Will ship at buyer's expense.

Not from a quick google.

It's an impediment to selling, so moved on. Plus, he doesn't want to sell too bad with his never reply strategy

I believe these are stock equivalent rates of ~450lbs.

Sorry for my lack of response, I don't own a 335i anymore so I don't frequent this forum. Unfortunately I do not know the spring rates/specs. Original paperwork is long gone.

I'm a big dork with too much time working from home, so I went and found the KW TUV cert and did a rough calc of the spring rate. They won't work for my application so I figured that I'd pass this info on.

TUV here: http://docs.kwsuspension.de/ga-KWGFw-20032_1285-10.pdf

It says its a 270mm long spring, with 8.25 active coils. Its a very slight barrel shape, average OD of ~91.5mm, which makes spring rate something like 515 lb/in-ish.
