FRM AIF and ZUSB And Winkfp
Hello,
Im trying to flash and change the VIN of an repaired FRM either with winkfp and tool32. I would try to explain the real problem but the attached pictures talk theirselves. How can i write to this module if Existing AIF is empty? Please let me know if additional details are needed. Thanks |

whenever i try to read VO from FRM/NFRM it gives “vin faulty” error. Reading from existing CAS it displays the VO and VIN properly.

Before that, again there is something disturbing my head. The traditional guide, in many forums and posts, it is: Step 1) Tool32 write new Vin OR Winkfp ZUSB programming. Step 2) NCS Expert, read VO and Code the target module to factory settings. So what is the purpose of step 1 when step 2 is sufficient? Thanks again...just trying to understand the logic behind |

Today I followed these steps. FRM was FA written and coded successfully. Everything works except Highbeam and fog. When I switch on high beam, fog lights turn on, and when I switch on Fog lights, nothing happens. Others look ok, wipers, windows..... Is this malfunctionrelated with FRM Dflash files used for repair? Thanks |

Another similar case from E91 Frm3.
Bricked, repaired, vo written, factory coded....everything work except highbeams which switches on the fog lights and vice versa. Again UIF fields empty in Inpa. And winkfp cannot flash it. Besides sending again for repair to load the proper flash, is there any possibility to flash with expert mode in winkfp? |

Did you guys try resetting the FRM to defaults? SG_Codieren will reset to factory defaults, and I believe should clear up those issues.

Yes as mentioned above. FA write to FRM and then SG codieren. Default coding solved most of the issues it had (side markers, parking lights, windows not working), but not Fog front lights and high beams. Tail lights look all ok.
