I'm not sure if anyone reading this thread is an Android developer.
But I'm hoping at least one is

My father has the 2016 7 series. I was able to extract the app in the rear seat tablet.
I'm wondering if someone can modify it so that it pulls different info from the Android side and be able to remap the shortcuts to launch Any app (navigation would launch Google Maps for example).

The goal is to have the best BMW OEM Android launcher.

Not sure if you got the idea of what I'm asking about.
Let me try clarifying it a bit.

Since my father's 2016 7 series has an Android tablet on the back seat that allows you to control many aspects of the car's interior and pull information about the car. See

This is a Samsung Android tablet. Nothing "fancy". So I plugged it to my PC and was able to get the app "command centre" and run it on my Android phone, tablet, you name it. It's just another Android app.

My question is if there are any Android developers here that can remap the home shortcuts (navigation, phone, etc.) to any app on the phone/tablet that it's running on?

Also, be able to display any custom data, would be great if Tasker can feed it data!

Anyway, it's a very...very...very long shot. But I thought I should ask anyway
