New member - E90 335

Greetings all, after a fair time spent searching I can finally say I am the proud owner of this 2011 E90 335 xDrive in alpine white with black interior. Factory M-sport package. Just over 94k miles but it is in great condition. My goal is to keep it clean with an OEM-plus look.

First mods, tips, and maintenance items to look out for are welcome! Looking forward to learning about the platform. I'm coming from driving an Infiniti G37.

Thanks everyone, the BMW is definitely smoother and feels more agile. The size difference is very noticeable, it's about 8 inches shorter than the G37 sedan. One thing I will have to get used to is that since the car does not have comfort access, I have to insert the key into the slot in order to start it. I will never understand why they did not make it a true keyless system. Even Infiniti made it standard!

I’ve got a 2008 335xi Coupe! The N54 is such a temperamental engine, and in a very much temperamental platform. Despite all the headaches, it’s still my favorite car I’ve owned. Good luck!

They did, your car didn't have that option

Nice find there. BMW's options are somewhat a la carte. As mentioned, the true entry/start is available with the comfort access option.

The easiest way to know if the car has CAS without having a fob, is there are slight" ridges" on top of the outside door handle above the lock. Non cas handles are smooth.

Yep that's what I'm saying, I don't have the option installed. The reason I'm disappointed is that it was not standard. Regardless, I still love the car so far! The little things that my Infiniti did not have make it that much better (welcome lighting, puddle lights, power folding mirrors to name a few).

Hi, does anyone know what the best thing to do if the Yakima ski racks does not fit on the BMW base rack?
