No. I think the stock tune burbles just enough.

But to each their own.

Here is my rule of thumb... if a V6 Camry can beat you in a drag, you prob don't need to shoot flames. J/K!

I vote for NAW!

I'm just wondering what shooting flames does to your valves and cat converters after an extended period of time.

Bad things.

High frequency burbles and braps are totally fine for the head, and not horrid for the cats (like the f30+ do).

The slow, occasional BANG is like seen above is how shit hits the fan. On other platforms I've seen it apparently cause damage, surprisingly I haven't heard of it too much on bmws and I've seen some absolutely ridiculous bangs going on.

No clue, just know I won't be doing it lol

You can see the pressure wave leaving the exhaust when he's on the dusty surface... looks like a bomb going through the pipes. (3:38ish)

Good thing there wasn't an equally powerful shockwave applied to the exhaust valves milliseconds before that bang.......

Oh wait.

OP, not ratting you out, it's just a bit painful to see such mechanical ... goodness ... occuring

My e92 pops and burbles and it's never had a burble tune. Especially when I'm pushing it hard, like coming off the track it's burbling like hell the whole way down to the point that it's ALMOST embarrassing.

It's not probably THAT bad for the car to add a burble tune but I've seen it turn new plugs black (causing a misfire) in 3k miles. And I don't like it because it just screams "daddy gave me a BMW and I want to make it unique with the 17 dollars that I have to my name"
