ABS pump re-programming?

Hi!

I bought ABS pump that comes from 320d 177ps E91.

My current car is 2.5l petrol 218ps E91.

I want to be sure if the pump is compatible hardware-wise. Initially, I thought that I would just change the plastic module so I don't need to re-program.

Then I realized they are different modules. I couldn't take the plastic module out of the ABS module.

Now my question is if they are compatible. If yes, what kind of software is required to program?

Thanks in advance!

I have changed the abs module anyway. Remaining things to do are brake bleed and programming.

I google about software and get more confused the more I read. I have D-Kcan and Inpa.

I read it requires Ether cable and Icom or either way. I'm downloading ISTA-D and I continue googling.

Garage List
It is well known that if your car is six cylinder you need a DSC off a six cylinder. Depending on what fault codes you get from INPA, you may be able to fit your current controller to a replacement hydraulic block. Therefore not needing to code or programme.

I had a lot of trouble with programming.

I go back to the start of the route I look around for a similar module so I can just change DSC module.

I will check if I can transfer the ABS pump components from the Diesel one though.

I wonder if the components are identical like in the second picture. I don't need to go over carbon brushes or bearing.

it is fixed. I moved carbon brushes from the diesel one to the original unit. Perfectly working!
