Everything is up and ready to go, all that is left is to fill all the fluids, prime the turbos and that is it. Anything I should be aware of during this first initial start?

As far as the tune is concerned, should I tune back to stock before installing the JB4?

Alright, got the car started up this morning. No leaks, everything looks great. Except for the 3.5BAR map sensor I bought on Amazon. Rewired the male plug as seen in many DIYs, and enabled the 3.5 MAP in MHD. Still got 2ABD "boost pressure sensor over-run" error code with half engine light. Installed the stock MAP sensor back and it's fine, no code.

Either I bought a shitty MAP sensor or MHD doesn't support it? Weird since they have an option for it.

Did you buy an OEM sensor, or some cheap aftermarket one?

Cheap after market one off Amazon. Just ordered one from FCP euro, see how that goes.

My $15 eBay 3.5 BAR sensor has been great. I'd double-check your rewiring job and exchange it for another if that doesn't fix it.

Honestly I don't think mine is even a MAP sensor, bulb looks totally different. I am going to request a refund and just use one from FCP.

Finally took the car out for a short drive, no codes. Running on MHD Stage 2+, just kept it light no hard acceleration or anything. First things first I notice the inlets just sound like there is a lot of air flowing throw them, especially on a cold start. However I did notice some weird sounds under light acceleration. It almost sounds like a flutter, weird because I didn't realize I was boosting. So it makes sense now why a tune is crucial, turbo is creating some boost when none is needed. It'll flutter even if I don't let of the gas and just hold it steady at about 2k rpm. It might be the BOV that needs tuning as I had a heavier spring on it, but I don't think its the BOV. Thoughts?

Most stuff I find are for WOT or higher boost flutter etc. Fixed by installing softer BOV spring or upgrading the vacuum line from manifold to BOV. Having trouble finding anything on lower acceleration and boost.

Is your BOV open or closed at idle? What spring is in it. What in/hg vacuum does your motor pull at idle, and at what in/hg vacuum does the BOV just lightly close.

If you run too light of a spring....you can get some fluttering at low/mid throttle.

At the moment BOV is closed at idle. Before the hybrid turbo install my idle vacuum was at 19 in/hg and the BOV was open and I would have experience flutter at low/mid throttle. Then I went to a heavier spring, sorry I don't remember what color as it was some aftermarket b.s off Ebay but I tested it with a hand pump and it would crack open at 25 in/hg

Either way, I think I am going to try and throw the stock diverter valves on and see what happens. Getting the 3.5 map sensor soon so I will be able to install that too. In the meantime I am going to install the JB4 and BEF.
