Engine shakes during cold start!

Hi guys. I have a 2008 320i E90. Recently, my car has been having vibration when I cold start. it lasts for approximately 5-10 secs, and it's gone after that. In that 5-10 secs, my idling will fluctuate 600rpm to 800rpm (upon start as usual, will go above 1k then drop) and stabilizes at 800rpm. Weird part is there is no error codes thrown so I am trying to figure what might be the issue.

Anyone has experienced this before?

I'm a layman and I wish I could help more. Some say that low oil pressure on startup can be a cause. sagging seals, the center post missing from oil filter clogged Vanos screens or perhaps weak battery or old ignition coils Maybe even a random completely something other. Hard to track down over a message board.

My 2010 328 does something similar, a slight rocking when first started but not every time. No codes and it just does it first start in the morning.

Thanks crashoverride for sharing your opinion. I will check on it later. I suspect it could be a battery issue. I do have a dash/rear cam always says restart system due to battery. other than that, no other codes thrown from the car.

Does your car show any other symptoms? Leaking of any sort?

No other symptoms or leaks. It is starting to make some new beeps and boops from the electronics after shut down but this is a new phenomena and I don't think it is related to the engine rocking.

Does it happen in relation to how long the engine was shut off? If so maybe leaky fuel injectors?
