Anyone here into hiking? doing nature shit?

man im lazy as shit, but my gf loves to drag me on these nature walks and hikes and shit up in the mountain, we did 4.5 miles on shenandoah mountain over the weekend and now my thighs are aching...i dont mind walking 8 miles if the path was just flat, this shit was ALL hills i had to climb, i thought going downhill would be a breeze but it was worse, my toes were digging into my shoes and i bet you im gonna have an ingrown toe nail

just venting...
