Closest stone to mine is $4500 on James Allen (http://www.jamesallen.com/diamonds/F...nd-1527118.asp), one color better, but one clarity grade worse which has a heavier weight on value. The setting is $1150 currently. I believe it's a size 5, I am getting it checked asap.

I am looking for $5000 obo. The ring was hardly worn (maybe 6-12 times since purchase in 12/2009) as my wife has to work with fabrics and clothing setting up stores. We are divorcing and she will retain all proceeds.

The Ring:

The Stone:

The Stone's Light character through Loupe:

AGS Certificate:

Values have gone up quite a bit since 2009 and it was appraised then for $5900 by James Allen. Current value should be close to $7000 but that is just an estimate.

Payment by certified check. Not sure if Paypal is safe for this kind of transaction, if it is I'd consider it, but $5000 obo is the cash price.

bump size 4 3/4

Jared's Jewelers cleaned and polished the band so it's in new condition now. They told me it would sell for no less than $8900 in their store, but the quality is much higher than they usually stock. They felt my $5000 price was a bit low for this stone.

I do realize many want 1.0 carat and above. My soon to be ex-wife is only 5'0" tall and all of 100lbs or so Most thought this ring was much much bigger than the .757 weight it is due to the fire/brilliance it puts out. At one dinner it was actually putting 'sparkle' on the ceiling above the table. None of the other rings present (8 of them) could do that.

Things have no where near doubled....

Saying decent without any other factors is meaningless. A 1 carat stone of decent quality is around $6-7k for AGS/GIA certification.

You have not so much great quality diamond, most approximately matching from now selling items is SKU BBB1-0.70W809312 (https://www.gsdiamonds.com.au/diamon...809312_2144077) It is tripple excellent, has ideal cut as you mentioned, has G color grading and VVS2 clarity. So, it will be near 4600$, your setting is mostly used solitaire diamond ring, it would go for 1150$ approximately. Most matching is solitaire ring (https://www.gsdiamonds.com.au/Rene-S...nt-Ring_1659_e)
So we have 5800$, that is more than 5000$, as u wish.
Carat weight is really great, so I wish you good luck!
If you go to good gemmologist, maybe he will tell you some different prices.

Any info what’s the actual 2ct diamond ring price in 2021? I heard that pandemics affected jewelry industry and now it’s easier to get a really cheap stone, but is it true? Maybe somebody knows the place with nice discounts?
