Battery Safety Terminal CODE WON'T CLEAR.

hi i have a 2007 bmw 335i.

the car does not want to start.
the code reader i am using is BMWHAT comes with the android app.

my problem is that when i plug up a code reader to the OBD, a code or error pops out for the Battery Safety Terminal cable. All of the other codes for the car are able to be cleared except this one. the battery safety terminal cable was replaced with a brand new one because the previous one went off.

is there a way to reset it? do i have to replace anything else?

If it's throwing the battery safety code, you very likely cannot clear it. I had an issue with mine a few months ago and I couldn't reset it permanently with the BT cable and software.

In my case the wire that connects to the battery harness had a bad connector. A shop that replaced my battery broke it.

See thats your first problem.
Changed BST. Its red cable which connects the red box to the car.
It blows if your car has been involved in accident or short circuit and cut the supply to the fuel pump so car does not catch fire.
I would suggest to read the code in the detail as if its bst code or airbag cable going to bst on the car.
My friend's car was knocked while it was parked.
There is small ding to one wing and he could not start it.
So they towed it to my place and on inspection it has bst code.
Will be changing bst to clear errors and car will start.
