A/C BLOWER MOTOR Problem FIXED!

Vehicle: 2006 E90

Symptom: Air blows cold but A/C fan level stops at level 4 and turns on and off intermittently at low vehicle speeds or at stops. A/C Fan does not stop at high or freeway speeds.

Diagnoses: Failing Blower motor

Solution: Replaced blower motor and it fixed the issue. A/C fan functions at all fan speeds.

Congratulations on getting that annoying problem fixed. You really needed the a/c working today in socal- unseasonably warm- even the plants are all confused with the weather.

Did you had to disconnect any duct work to replace the blower motor? Any tricks to remove the blower motor (especially the back tab that is hidden on the back)?

True that...It rained last week but its now warming up again. A/C is a plus here in SoCal.

Tips: Have a soft touch for disconnecting and reconnecting wires and have a tolerance for working your hands in tight places. Don't need to remove ducts. And safety first: unplug the battery and don't hurt your back or neck...
