HID fog light problem help!! 06 Pre LCI e90

i installed HID fog light on my 06 pre LCI E90 last week.

i used canbus ballasts, which they claim it is error free...

however, it start to randomly on and off, finally my fog light never came back again...

any solution on this?? should i change the ballasts for specific type? or coding?

or it just hid for fog not working for my car? anybody avoid the problem on the same car??

I have an '06 too, used coding. Coded out all the bulb checks and edited the nettodat file to change the voltages. Google is your friend

this guys recommend me to use their HID kit for my 06,

seems they are so sure there will be no errors with their products

anyone tried this for using it now on 06?

I have a march of 05 e90 330i build the earliest build I believe and I bought mine from DDMTUNING. Had them for 4-5 years.

'06 Models are extremely picky. Error cancelers don't seem to work. Coding is probably the only way, you'll have to change the voltage manually though trail & error. Mine work perfectly without cancelers after the coding

dang its freaking picky as hell!! i never thought it can be this bad before, sick of it... i asked a garage in my neighbor, they said they can fix the problem with some bmw part which i forgot... hopefully it will work with it and if it is not working i am considering to go back to stock...
or maybe lastly coding... still do i have to do changing the voltage?? sounds freaking complicated for just lights...

Get a M3 front bumper and do the fog delete...simply mod.

he claim their fog hid kit work perfectly without coding or other additional job...

if you anyone ever tried this on 06 e90...

anyway i will might try those next week if it works i wll maybe post a new thread about it

anyway 06 is freaking damn picky for hid...

so did you solve the problem on HID fog now? or still bad? im thinking after i try couple ways people suggest and if it fail.. i will just stuck with stock halogen fog...

13.2v worked for him and 13.5v worked for me. Yours might be different, that's why it's trail and error
