2006 and before, dealers used to hand you a program sheet when you bought the car (maybe not when buying used/CPO) to change these settings. 2007+ built most stuff into the OBC so the customer can change things themselves.

Wish they could do a 335. Id love to have it swing in mirrors, roll up windows and close sunroof when i FOB lock the doors. That would be cool.

My dealer service dept. is apparently a group of dumb asses (or greedy) - I asked them if they could code a certain single feature - they quoted me a price of +$200 - stated they have to update the entire car to just code (1) aspect @ 2 hrs labor and that they can't go in and code seperate items.

I told them that there are members on the forum that will do it using the same software they use - he tried to tell me it's impossible?

At any rate, when I'm ready, I'll have Patrys do it thru here

I got my car coded by someone in my area (NYC). I have an 09 335 coupe, i got the digital speedo, ability to close the windows and mirrors by holding the close button on the remote, and the turn signals deleted while driving. ( even if you arent turning, they glow a little) i can also open the mirrors with the open button.

Yes! A list needs to be made. I don't have any confirmation of AE as DRL, the dealer said they can so I will let you all know tomorrow afternoon.

Patrys was my first choice, seemed like small hassle, and it was more expensive than the dealer... But I may need him if They can't do everything.

My dealer said this direct from email: "There is a charge to program the car of 106.00 + tax so while we are doing it we should do everything you want at one time to save you money." after I asked him about the AE as DRL he said he thinks so. I hope!
