I am curious to know how a modded 335 say with JB and few mods will go against a Stock or slightly tuned C63. I never ran times in the 335 or my current ride so bit hard to determine which is quicker.
can u please list your mods because im gonna have to call bs on this.

297 rwkw seems quite low for An FBO car with RB turbos. What kind of dyno did you run it on and is it quite a conservative tune?

It would be best to wait a few months until the cold weather returns. Turbo engines produce more power with the cold dense air and therefore, perform heaps better. The differences in times between air temperatures 25 deg and 12 deg could be as much as 0.5 sec over 400m. I prefer to go the Wednesday night Test N Tunes. Let me know when you plan to go out and I will go out also.

You could be correct but I thought it was fairly reasonable as I have a standard exhaust beyond the downpipes and run only on BP Ultimate 98 ( no E85 or meth). That is approx. 530hp at the engine which isn't to shabby. Certainly, E85 would increase the output into the low 300rwkw but I like driving my car to places like Phillip Island for the BMW Nationals last year. It makes it difficult to do that on mixtures of E85. The tune was carried out by Bayside Performance Services on their Dyno Dynamics.

I have seen a stock C63 pull 12.4sec 114mph and a modified one (not supercharged) pull 11.9sec.

Mines just JB4, catless DP, exhaust, intake and Alpina transmission flash. this is on map2 which is 14.5PSI. if I remember correctly it was about 75/80-170+ and I floored it from 3rd so he kept up for a bit, if I went to 2nd in sure I wouldve pulled on him instantly.

he probably didn't expect a bimmer that's not an M car to pull on him, and before that he kept boosting past me and tail gating me so I just decided to go it haha
Nice work mate... good to see you standing up for us bimmer drivers

if you see a XR6 T with a big front mount it should give a very decent time.

There was one of these on the weekend also, an FG ute. Left me for dead. Was pretty even, then just BAM 5 car lengths out of nowhere. Very quick ute. Prestige plates XXXXK from memory.

I met a guy couple months ago with a supercharged c63 while I was getting my tyres changed, claimed it was the fastest c63 in aus, he was telling me how he still can't break the 10 second mark. Shoulda taken pics.

And fk a tuned 335 without rb can beat an r8...

It obviously had a few mods to get that time. I know Bayside Performance Services had a C63 on their website about 18mths ago which they claimed was the fastest around at the time. It was pulling 11.9sec over 400m. I think it was white in colour.

Do any of you guys feel the car is slow ?? I dont see what the fuss is about. n54 with JB4+FBO can beat a m3... really ? im almost FBO with my car and i feel i cant even beat a xr6 turbo or evo. i ran my mate rolling start in an evo6 (basically stock?) and he kept up pretty well. I think my 220rwkw silvia was heaps more fun/responsive/quicker than my current ride.

I drove a 335i that had an evolve tune and it was impressive enough to put a smile on my face. So far I'm not impressed with n54 jb4

Have you tried logging to see what your boost / fuel is doing?

Normally if any maps are going too slow you'd get an error code because something isn't doing as it's supposed to.

Edit: I just read you're on map 2, do you have any downpipes?? Map 2 can be slower than map 1 if your car isn't ready for map 2. The engine will pull timing and cut boost if the situation doesn't allow for it, so map 1 might be better.

With the 1er, I think I get a lot of disrespect on the roads since it is extremely common for either a golf or 86 to rev at me and try to race!

Have not lost to either so far however it is great when you see their faces afterwards!

Regarding aussie cars, also never lost to a commowhore (generally not highly modified though).. even had a guy ask me if it was my daddy's car and then I smoked him and you could him them all yell out 'whoah' in the background LOL

LOL.

You should get a dash cam and mount it out your rear window. You could start a video series.

I just need to upgrade fmic and cp and I'm fbo mangz so yes I do double penetrations. I haven't logged yet. I need to get a usb and read a little more on logging. I do get 1 engine code has happened 3 times when I've gone WOT but hasn't appeared since

2A87: EXH VANOS MECHANISM
3100: Boost-pressure control, deactivation – boost-pressure buildup prohibited (N54 only)

I might need to have out and either clean my vanos or replace. Seems ok now though

Not too keen to try map 5 yet until I get a cp. I've read and been told by a workshop in Melbourne map 5 can be unstable so be careful using, so I probe need to log to be on the safe side

i get GTIs Rs and volisters creamed a volister so bad at the next lights he moved behind me, declined on 2nds. GTIs i now give a 1-2 car head-start and reel em in.

think a lot of people know the 135/335i but don't fully understand what a tuned 135/335i becomes. but it's few and far between as oils rarely at temp.

had a supercharged holden behind me last night that sounded good but i was cold so didn't even glance his way.
