Sounds about right. only thing i can add is Play with the RPMs and throttle. A little higher a lil lower depending on weather, tires, etc. But thats he hit it on the nose. thats a good starting point.

hmm. anyone have problems with holding the brake to 2500 RPM? seems like everytime i try it, the car starts jerking and starts to move with my foot on the brake
maybe im going over 2500?

^ I get that too and I just step harder on the brake to keep it still until I'm ready. It's rough on the trans so I wouldn't be doing this all day long.

I use a Vericom VC2000 performance computer to measure acceleration and found slightly better times in DS rather than D. I just let the car shift. This might sound weird too, but my snow tires really HOOK UP - like drag radials! Full throttle, no spin!
