Your car should. Our '08 ML350 does but it is very temperamental. You have to make sure the smart key is a few feet away from the door sensor, and then point at the sensor then hold the lock/unlock button. If that doesnt work, I would take it in to the dealer because Mercedes has had this feature for many years.

OK..thanx..I'll play with it some more then...I figured something had to be up with it.....

One of my keys for the benz isn't working very well right now anyway...and my warranty is up here (you only get 2 years in Germany). But they did offer my half price for a new key. I might just wait till I get to the states so I'm covered again....

Swapping out the battery didn't help?

Does anyone know if you can roll the windows up and close the sunroof via the FOB?

No, it's not the battery. We did that. The key works just not unless you're really close to the car. Definately not working right. Not that big a deal...I'll get a new one under warranty when I get back to the states.

I feel dumb now though...cause I was able to roll down and up the windows...so I guess I was mistaken...could have sworn that was the case though.....maybe I was confusing with one of my other cars....

In US markets, the rolling up of windows and closing of the sunroof is disabled from the FOB due to safety restrictions. You can; however, roll windows down with the FOB.

If you have comfort access, you can close all windows and the sunroof by holding your finger on the handle after the car locks. This is what I use.

NO, only with the key in the drivers door.
