Basically with the car on the ground, place the bat between the fender and the tire starting toward the rear of the car. Use a bat because the gap is bigger in the back and gets very small toward the front You can use different areas of the bar to get the right thickness.

Have a friend roll the car forward. With the bat resting on the tire, it will roll the opposite way as the tire and not scrape the fender but "roll" along it. Work a few inches then back the car up. Each time you roll forward, go a little bit further, using gradually more or less of the bat. Obviously, pressure down on the bat applies pressure up on the fender lip.

if someone has a roller then absolutely use that, but those are pretty hard to come by.

Good to know someone local has one.

A premium import repair shop in ATL recommended me to use a wooden bat, granted my REAR fenders were thick enough to accomodate the risk of damage. I have seen infinitely more success stories in person then any unsuccessful stories. In fact, with all the lowered VIP cars in ATL i've never really heard of anyone using that method with regret.

Sorry for the long post. But i figure you guys and gal would wanna check it out....

So today i finally had time to get my rear fenders rolled. I am running 18 x 9.5 et40 squared on 255/35/18. I had no fender work done at all. I was rubbing enough to bug me.... so i got my hands on some 10mm spacers and got to rolling today.

Now i only rub on very large dips. :excited:

Set up is now. 18x9.5 et30 rear and et35 front. still on 255/35s all around.

Heres some pics of the progress.

Took the bumper off and cut out some of the fender liner. Well worth the 10 minutes taking the bumper off and putting it back on.

A little Flare

After the roll.

Went out a little later today and got some shots with my Camera.

I pulled a little too much but that just gives me room for a little more spacer :woot:

I have a few more things in the works for the car.. Until then. I hope you guys enjoy. Thanks for looking :hi:
