Love the front... some darker tints would add a nice touch to it.

Who's the ricer?

1.) My car only has vendor stickers on it while at an event as the vehicle is a sponsored vehicle by the listed vendors. I NEVER drive my car on the street with that badging - track ONLY.

2.) Placing track stickers on the car is something that has been done within the BMW CCA and other european mark related clubs for YEARS. Nothing "ricer" about this.

Tint can be nice... but I can't tint the glass on a car that is tracked. Just NOT a good idea.

Thank you! For advanced tuning, Lucent or nothing, for me. :-)

(Though, I must say, LTBMW has helped me with a lot of the CF components...)

Looks great! Front lip win.

Haven't read through all 5 pages but is it a kerscher/kerscher style lip?

Its a combination of a factory M-Sport front bumper, BMW Performance CF splitter tips and a Kerscher lip. I think it comes together fairly well.

Don't say that.. there is always "more" you could do. Widen it up a bit and throw some fatter meat on there.

I really can't effectively go much larger with the foot print and keep the car viable for the track.

Stumbled across this thread and realized you're the guy who blew by me in a 25 mph zone by the peninsula hotel going about 55. Cool car, but not when you drive it like that.

1.) Seeing as how there is more than one 335i with black badging and black wheels in West L.A., I don't see how you can affirmatively say this.

2.) The stretch of road (Santa Monica Blvd.) where the Peninsula is located is a stone's throw from Wilshire Blvd. and is an off angle intersection. I personally would never blow through there - its blind and not to mention incredibly cop ladden. Speeding in Beverly Hills isn't worth it, ever.

3.) There is usually a tremendous amount of traffic in that area and absent the clearance of a monster truck, I'm not aware of anyway its possible to get through there at that speed unless you're well off from prime hours.

4.) I haven't driven in front of the Peninsula Hotel for at least two months. If not more.

5.) If I was indeed the driver of the car at the time you were in the area, I would say I'm sorry you feel you we're blown past by me - but the only way I see this remotely possible is if you were rubber necking in an open and free flow situation and going well below the flow of traffic. The stretch of road in question has a posted limit of 35mph. If you were driving at 25mph - this is either because you were stuck in traffic - which means I would have been as well or you were crawling for whatever reason and left a lot of open road around you. In either case, if the road was open, cvc 22350 (a divided road with two or more lanes in either direction) shows that the prima facie limit on this stretch of road is 65mph, will still would put your claim of 55mph as 10mph, under.

Thanks for playing post the harassing comment.

Yea, it was you because it had the same Lucent stickers and track stickers which I was somehow able to barely make out even though this was at night. No one buys tiag E92s (i mean that they are more uncommon), especially modded exactly the way yours is. Plus, you're an asian dude and your passenger was another asian dude. And get your eyes checked because it's a 25 mph zone. I live a few blocks from there and have been on that road 500 times this year and see the 25 mph sign almost daily.

Just sayin don't speed through there bro. You'll be paying some cops. and don't get so defensive man. You're ready to throw down at the slightest bit of adversity. On the internet.

AND I was going TWICE your claimed speed, too. Little tiny little track stickers which don't even show up at night. Right.

So, basically, you're describing everything you saw in the photos. Lovely.

No one has my mechanical improvements, but I know of at least two other cars that superficially appear similar to mine, both in West L.A.

SO awesome! Open mouth. Insert foot. Swallow.

LOL! I'm as white as white gets (unfortunately for me). BIG WHITE FACE. WITH EYEGLASSES. BIG ROUND EYES. And while I DO have Asian friends, 99.99% of the time, I ride with my Asian friends, not the other way around.

You have completely discredited yourself. Congratulations. Insert foot in mouth and swallow.

So. Either:

a.) you saw another car that looks like mine and now think it was me (but it wasn't)
b.) you never saw any car and are just attempting to bate me with a false allegation

Either way, the moment you said I'm Asian and was driving with an Asia, you completely killed your story. Nice!

Thanks for the advice.

I appreciate the counsel. But here's the thing - if you're intention was GENUINE and you meant nothing more than to offer friendly, advice, you would have sent me a private message. You didn't. Your choice of ACTION speaks much louder than your selection of words.

Well, I'm pretty certain it was your car, but maybe I couldn't clearly see who was driving since I was on your right and it was dark. Afterall, at night it is easier to see the car than the people inside it. In any case, whether it was you or not, you have got to calm down. You write long paragraphs to puff out your chest. Like I said, all I'm saying is don't speed like that in a 25. Cops chill out right as you enter BH from CC.

"Whether it was you or not."

See, that's the problem. Making an allegation, certainly one that qualifies as potentially unlawful conduct, even if you have no certainty of your claim, doesn't seem to matter to you. How is it that you don't see anything wrong with that?

While I doubt ANYONE would take issue with your advice (certainly, I don't - its sound and good advice), its coming somewhat "after the fact" and as such, it isn't much of a leap to perceive it as disingenuous. If you wanted to be a good samaritan and offer friendly counsel on an issue that you weren't certain if it was me or not, you would have privately contacted me. I've been around long enough to know an intended flame when I see it.

On the issue of "long paragraphs," well, it takes only a handful of words to say something patently wrong - it takes MANY MORE to reply affirmatively. This is not "chest puffing." You're A to B to C is completely backwards. You opened the door - I merely responded.

And as far as the "entry to BH" The high-speed, border point is Moreno Drive, not Santa Monica and Wilshire.

You're right. In the prior post I mistakenly wrote "you're" instead of "your." Clearly, I'm losing my head.

Maybe i need to take a drive to blow off some steam. ;-)

I wasn't trying to correct an honest typo btw. That'd be a waste of my time as I see that you have proper grammar and sentence structure.
