Spare part suppliers in Sydney?
Where do you guys purchase your spare parts in Sydney?
Trying to avoid the dealers for the consumables like oil/air/cabin/fuel filter and brake pads. I have been told there is a supplier who has BMW parts in a generic box. I am near Wollongong but work near SYD airport. Oil I buy from Supercheap on sale. Particularly interested in which brake pads to get as the originals are so dusty. textar pads are supposed to be good oem like pads, otherwise you can buy dirt cheap TRW clearance pads from repco currently (like 75% off) which I run on my VW and they're fine. |

For maintenance stuff I use Clickable Automotive - small company, stock most e90 consumables in either OEM, or reputable brands for good prices.
For brake stuff they stock Zimmerman. Fitted them to my car earlier this year & they're fine - quiet, stop well (just like stock) although the pads are dusty like stock too. I just clean my wheels once a week. https://clickableautomotive.com.au |

All of the other ones I can think of are listed but one that ill add is Brintech
They are wreckers, they also do hardcore modding but also have an eBay store with consumables and more common parts Just go on eBay and search for what you need... filter on nearest and you'll find the stuff you need. I really like going through FCP euro for the full warranty on some of the more expensive items. Water pump radiator etc. Its not worth shipping the smaller stuff back. Find a mate that needs stuff at the same time and do a group ship to save $

I find that if you plan ahead and can collate parts require to a larger order, than the overseas sites are cheaper. FCP Euro, but occasionally ecs tuning depending on shipping cost.
Clickable is competitive IF they carry the parts, and they have a very small offering, mostly service work and some common spares. I ordered once a coolant expansion tank against my VIN, but they sent an N54 instead of an N55 version, which they couldnt source. Got a refund, but pissed me off as car was off the road longer than it needed to be. Ive only bought a handful of items on sparesbox, shipping was timely. I do feel that you need to wait for their regular 20% off to make the price reasonable. |

If you are after genuine brand new OEM BMW parts the cheapest is
https://www.e-acca.com/ The cheapest in the world FedEx delivery usually around 30EUR The bad part is around 16 days for parts to come in and takes 5 days to my door from Riga/Latvia to Brisbane Have used them a lot now and they are excellent Blows Schmiedmann out of the water for pricing and shipping. UK is expensive for RHD parts Just another option if your chasing new genuine RHD parts as FCP is LHD parts only
