As the title suggests....I have this setup with an eibach front sway bar and adjustable end links and can't get the ride to be really any good. It's bouncy and super stiff no matter what I set the struts at.
Anyone have this setup with similar results. Really bummed as many people have recommended it.

Something seems off, I've had this kit (minus the eibach sway, I have M3 tho so not that different) for years and have nothing but good things to say about it. It handles the street better than the stock suspension and even is good enough for tracking duties. Sounds like you have either miss-matched parts or some sort of installation issue. Were the control arms typically removed to install these parts properly torqued down after you let the car sit under its own weight? I tend to run the adjustment setting to full soft (still stiff relative to stock), but it sounds like you've already tried that.

I have the koni with bmw sport springs. not bouncy. You may need to cut your bump stops.

Ya I'm having a BMW tech look at my setup to make sure everything is good. I changed just about all the parts in the suspension based on all the suggestions in this forum. But if both of you are saying that the ride is compliant there def has to be something off.

How old are the strut top mounts? Did you reuse your oe bumpstops? With Eibach springs, you need shorter bumpstops.

I changed everything out roughly 10k miles ago

I had the Koni oranges for about 8k before noticing some bounciness recently. Turned out they were both blown and I bought these brand new on stock springs smh.

Sending in my warranty form now.

Mine was bouncing after my first install over rough roads and I was super bummed. My issue was just that I had the fronts set to full stiffness and the rears were softest. I realize it may seem silly but I matched the fronts and rears and the bounce went away.

Now I run it on the street and track and it's been great on both. Just thought I would offer my situation in the event that you've done the same and can do the simple adjustment.

Funny you mentioned this. I just actually changed my end links and seems to have helped a good amount. My next step tonight is to match front with the rear. My tears are set to 3/4 full stiff and my fronts are prob about half

I realize this is a super old thread but I just installed the same setup and have the same bouncy issue. I set everything to 1.25 turns from full soft. Not sure if I should go softer or firmer to try and solve the issue. It's really only noticeable at like 30mph - 40mph on what visually looks like smooth tarmac. Above those speeds it seems to do a better job absorbing bumps.

What bump stops are you running?

I replaced the bump stops with fresh OEM e90 ones. I know some people run ones from like the e36. But I'm not hitting the bump stops. I just notice that the car is a bit more bouncy over smooth pavement than it was before

"Suspension tuning" 101 - try going to extremes in order to learn what changes do. With Koni yellow it would be setting them full soft and test, then go to full stiff and test that, see what results you get. Back in the day, I had them on my car with h&r race, and they never felt bouncy. I also had bump stops cut to half length approximately.

I'm almost positive you are hitting the bumpstops. You have less than an inch before hitting them on stock springs so you're likely touching them already even at ride height.

H&R's not only touch but compress the bump stops at ride height which results in a horrendous ride without e36/z4 stops.

H&R springs are actually one of the better riding combos with the shortened stops.

If you don't find another solution, try it. You will be pleasantly surprised.

As an update I changed out the bump stops and it made no difference. The ride is still bouncy between like 30-40mph over visually smooth roads. It doesn't feel like an old Cadillac and most people probably wouldn't even notice it, but it's definitely not as good a setup as of I went with coilovers.
