With all the junkies coming on May 10th... it would be nice to "reserve" (arrive early) and save the shaded spot near the old podium / washrooms.

well if there's no bbq, i will definitely bring a nice big cooler of refreshments and snacks.

agree with tony, the toilets shall be our designated area... lots of trees that provide a good amount of shade. and close to the most important facility on the track.

Whoever shows up first, should start cordoning off the area. What time are we supposed to be there again?

I think it is a great spot, but not sure Joel can fit his trailer there.

There aren’t many places and they change regularly. VAG, Lachute Performance and a few other regular shops. I did mine with a private guy who rented time out of a garage he knew. Not the most ideal, but it was cost effective and I helped out. I wouldnt bother unless you track or autoX often. Be prepared to spend 4-7 hours on labour. The assumption is you have adjustable suspension.

Drop a message in the Lapping section in Montreal Racing to see who is offering this service this year.

Garbis does that, and yes, as Joel mentioned not a necessity unless you do a lot and mainly solo. Be prepared for 4-500$.

Why? because with/without instructor your weight balance will be off. Once you are solo, then you can set it for only you in the driver seat.

because its at a garage and is a full walkthrough on how to perform a pre-track inspection

not a 3 hour session on how important it is to inspect your car

You got it George! I think it becomes more and more important to learn about the critical components that fail with significant track use! I'd go if I could, but Henry mentions he'll tape some parts of it and take pics of the main highlights, for folks like me who can't make it

A new track person will have unlikely worn components critical to safety. I wouldn't say the same thing for those who track significantly. Things are bound to fail, so preventive maintenance is always a great idea.

Shrug, my modding just replaces some older components with some brand new components, so it can't be bad.
