Alternator Mounting Bolts 335i

Our 2007 335i's alternator just died. I read the 4 mount bolts are aluminum and therefore have to replaced. I did find the part number for the 328i but no luck on our 335i.

Does anyone know what the 335i alternator mount bolt part numbers are? I really don't want to try and re-use the old bolts if they are in fact aluminum. Thanks in advance.

Did you look up the part numbers on realoem.com?

Here’s the bolt diagram and part numbers for a 01/2007 E90 335i (pre-LCI).

The alternator pictured seems inaccurate, but the two bolt sizes look legit.

Thanks for the reply. What I'm actually looking for is the four torx bolts that mount the alternator to the engine and head. Realoem shows the picture of the torque bolts but no part number.

Thank you! Looks like you only torque them to 10NM plus 180 degrees. Pretty light.

Any issues or suggestions on how you got the old alternator out? I've read take off the intake manifold, cut a little bit of the air box mount, take off the AC compressor etc,...

Yeh is a pinta
Basically have to remove the air box, charge pipe, serpetine belt etc
No need to remove Oil Filter Housing
Top unit is alternator, below that is the power steering pump
Here is a pic of the area in my RHD E92
