Since I'm going to wait about 28 days for my car to arrive, I just finished ordering my procede. I figure it will come about the same time as my car. Does anybody else near my area have one and if so who installed yours?

Why not just install it yourself?

There's an amazingly easy video online that shows you howto do it step by step. All you need is a few tools, a basic understanding of electronics (wires and connectors) and some common sense.

If you want, I could even do it for you. Mind you, you would have to take me for a spin in it after. Ohhhh, and a 6-pack of coronas would be nice!

I just might take you up on that offer, but how do I know you would do a proper job. I have seen the video online, but I just spent a good junk of change for the car, would be very sad if someone else screwed up the car. Do you have any experience?

i think there was another procede ordered for a 335i e92 here in toronto...cant remember who tho. so far, you are only the second in ontario that i've heard get it zoom zoom

Well I've been working on my own cars for the last 2 or 3 years.

Before the 190e I'm driving now, I owned an 05 IS300. I let my cousin drive it one night and he ended up writing it off

Here's a few of the technical things I did to my ride in the past:
I completely took apart the front end of the car (and put it back), successfully installed a set of DDE (BMW stlye halos) which required me to open up the whole headlight (I'm talking baking it in the over and prying it open, and cooking it back closed), installed & uninstalled a Race ECU (ECU Piggyback much like the procede but not as big), a few grounding kits, set up a number of switches and circuits throught my ride and also hooked up a few steroes. Based on the video, it's honestly childs play. lol - I feel like I'm auditioning to help you or something.

I was just trying to help man, if you'd feel safer paying someone else you don't to do it then go for it. lol

All I know is when I get mine in, I'm gona be doing it all on my own!

I don't know yet...I just moved back Toronto 4 weeks ago...so I don't have any tools and I am out of the country at the moment, business trip...will see when I am back in 2 weeks.

Hey Maz...What version of the Procede did you get? I am waiting for them to put in the launch control and give the user the option to remove the top speed limiter...Do you know if the version that you are getting has those options.

Can anyone confirm this...Someone told me that they were on their way to Kitchener the other day and were pushing their 335...said the limiter kept hitting around 205KPH...does this make sense? This is with the sport package also...Any thoughts??

the limiter can prolly be removed by a 3rd party car-tuning garage through a computer program. as for the 205kph, thats already more than double the fastest highway in ON...need you go any faster unless you track?

that's weird, i've gone well over 200 kph on many occasions =/

I could not wait for the v2.0 but you can easily download it when its available . Shiv from Vishnu said the new software will not be ready for another 3 weeks or so. But when its available for those of us who bought ours before the release date can still receive it.
