Be careful. Public Indecency charges are no fun from what I've heard.

Double-checked: still can't find the use of the word EYES anywhere in post related to staring.

Some asshole parked their van on the street on a blind corner instead of their driveway. There is plenty of room in their driveway for it, and almost every day for the past week I've gone by there has been a car passing in the oncoming (my) lane blindly. This morning when I passed by it at 6:30am I just laid on the horn. Fuck that guy and his van.

it took me a solid hour to go downstairs, pick up new wipers, install them and take out the trash in my car... majority of it went to figuring out how wipers install.

not proud of the time it took but hey, i changed my own wipers!

Hey man don't feel bad, you have to read the manual on the X3 (wiper arms don't go up manually).

Confession: my BMW is really breaking my heart.

Hear me out, I know that a car or material possession shouldn't be this tough on a person but I really REALLY want(wanted) this car to be good but every week or day (if you count the months at a time it's been down) there is an issue that renders it not driveable.

I've always owned eccentric vehicles such as Alfa Romeos, SHO's, Merkur's, and Sterlings that when down I could always take the jokes from my friends about how crappy they were but this time I said. " I'm gna buy a car that NO ONE WILL MAKE FUN OF ME for owning", but yet I'm the butt of jokes every single day because the bimmer is always in the shop.

I'm embarrassed that I ever bought this car.

A used car is a used car but geez, I'm making HUGE insurance payments on a car that can't get out of its own way. As an enthusiast I figured that BMW was over their reliability issues but I'm a prime example of "they're only good if you have a warranty...."

That's the problem, no ones gna buy it. I still owe on the loan I took out on it and can't get the DTM to go away long enough to put it up for sale. I'll nvr own another one again that's for sure. This is the most embarrassing thing I've ever experienced.
