So guys I got the car serviced all filters changed and coils and plugs changed, also changed the front left wheel speed sensor which was coming up on the Carly app. Car was fine for about a week until engine light along with Dsc, FTM, car was also spluttering. Turned the car off then on again and was back to normal. Jumped on the Carly app, getting codes 5E19 and 36C9.

Any ideas?

It could really be a lot of sensors or a faulty DME. There is a lot of things that could go wrong. Easiest would be to start with sensors, and then work your way to more complicated stuff.

What you really need to do is get MHD Logging.

Oil leaks are extremely common. How many miles? OFHG usually leaks first, at 50k miles or less. Valve cover around 80-100k, and oil pan gasket a little after that. Oil pan shouldn't cause a smell and isn't a big deal. OFHG must be dealt with immediately.

The car was running fine for a good couple of weeks, until I started smelling a burning oil smell, a week after that the ABS, FTM, and traction light came on then went off and it comes on and off while I drive the car. Also that same week, I was driving around 50mph and put my foot down a little bit, and the car jerked and then went into limp mode. I haven't driven it since and the car is going into BMW next weekend. I also searched for faults on the car but no codes were showing.
Welcome to the world of 335s. Fun to drive, pain to figure out, fix, operate and maintain!

Hi guys just an update, I had a local bmw specialist look at the car and I had a boost leak, one of the vacuum lines needed changing. All the codes have disappeared however I still have the 5e19 code, the car is running fine aside from the oil level sensor not working correctly but that's going to get changed next week. Does anyone know what causes this 5e19 code and what effect it could have on the car.

Thanks
