Well I guess we're going to have to wait till someone with deep pockets shows up to experiment. I know the injection windows gets kinda slim in the upper rpms but I believe it can be done. It has been done on other platforms already (BRZ/FRS) we just have to find somebody brave enough to do it.

I would add $100 also to see a motor go Pop and see what fails first. Someone should open up a Paypal fund to gather the donations and if we don't make it in a few months, rerun the money to everyone. This may not be the car to do it in since 6466 and already at 36psi. as long as enough boost, fuel, and proper tune I would love to find out the limit. There is a buddy of mine here In Houston with a 6766 setup he is about to tune with Jake remotely on the Dyno and he has everything in place to make big power. Custom big IC, all custom plumbing and exhaust, PTE 6766, twin scroll housing, AR 1.0, fuel it stage 3 and Motiv level 2 PI, 1000hp level 10 trans upgrade, etc etc.

Mechanically its a simple solution. The only thing you have to worry about mechanically is can the oil pump keep up and can the valve springs handle the revs. The main concern is fueling with the DI window. We can solve that by port injections.

I'm not knocking you at all I'm saying is until we get more data out I'm not going to rule out 8k redline on this motor with PI. The only way we are going to find limits to this motor is to constantly push the boundary like the Toyota, Honda, and DSM guys.

Very interested to see this car continue to do good things. It still amazes me that we can swing into the 800HP range for so little money compared to what you would be paying on other platforms!

I wish we could take this exact car and put a Fftech bottom mount kit on with the same turbo and see the difference in results and see which one is truly better. Because I was talked into getting a bottom mount turbo but this set up no doubt performs insane
