Strange Issue: D/S window rolls down a bit when unlock button pressed twice

I’ve coded my car to roll windows down/up with remote, but that requires a long (>2 second) press of the key fob button. I don’t have CA.

Within the past year, if I press the unlock button more than once, the driver’s window will inch down just a tiny bit. If I press unlock again, it’ll roll down a tiny bit more...

Is this a bad FRM?

That's not a bug, it's a feature!

Haha I wish...

There’s been too many times now where I’ve come back to my car in the dead of winter only to realize my window is down a couple inches.

Sure the simple solution is just don’t press the button more than once, but sometimes I do purely out of habit.

I can’t recall offhand but definitely only what was required to enable the feature. I could check and confirm.

It hasn’t always done this either, so I’m pretty sure it’s not a result of the coding. I might try flashing the FRM back to default and re-code the option, but I’m not banking on that fixing the issue...

Maybe a good time to upgrade to FRM 2, if I can find an option-matched module for a reasonable price...

Could it be that the window merely needs recalibration?

Have you tried recalibrating it?
